James & Bessie Corson

This is a photo of James and Bessie Corson in their senior years. Unfortunately, we are unable to see James' face clearly. It looks like this was also taken in their backyard, maybe on the same day as the previous photo with the rabbits.

J. L. Corson Photo #7

This photo was taken in the backyard at James and Bessie's house at 1317 Hawthorn Ave, Waterloo, IA. I had no idea they kept rabbits until finding this photo. It measures 4 1/2" x 2 3/4".

J. L. Corson Photo #6

This is James Lester Corson holding a grandchild. The baby is possibly my dad, Doug Herron, or his older brother. Therefore, the photo was probably taken between 1935 and 1938. The B/W image is 4 1/2" x 2 3/4".

J. L. Corson Photo #5

In this undated photo James Lester Corson appears to be middle aged. It is a sepia toned printe embossed with "Pierce" at the center bottom. It measures roughly 6" x 3".

J. L. Corson Photo #4

This is one of the smallest photos I have in my collection. It measures 3 3/8" x 2 1/4" including the mat. This is the better of two identical photos. It features James Lester Corson on the left. The man on the right is currently unidentified. If anyone has an idea as to who the unidentified man is, please contact me.

J. L. Corson Photo #3

I have 2 copies of this photo of a young James Lester Corson. Could this perhaps be a high school graduation photo? The photo + mat measures 7 1/4" x 5". The mat is embossed in the lower left hand corner with Fritz photography, 316 W. 4th St., Waterloo, IA.

J. L. Corson Photo #2

This is one of my favorite photos of James Lester Corson. It is permanently sealed in this circular frame with a dark red velvet back. The frame measures 2 3/4" in diameter. It is an undated, hand tinted photo.

J. L. Corson

This is an undated photo of my great grandfather, James Lester Corson. He was the third child of Cyrus & Sarah Corson. The image itself measures 9" x 4". It is matted; however, the entire photo with mat did not fit on my scanner. The mat is stamped in gold colored ink in the lower right hand corner with the logo of Fritz photography, 316 W. 4th St, Waterloo, IA.
